Fruit Smoothie


Why This Recipe:

Here is an easy milk-base drink that the children will love.

Ingredients:
  • Seasonal fruit- watermelon, mango, strawberries, bananas, etc. that can be cut into chunks.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar or honey

Directions:
  1. Cut fruit into chunks.
     
  2. Freeze fruit (for approx. 3 hours or until fruit is very firm).
     
  3. Using blender, mix milk, 1 cup fruit mixture, vanilla extract and sugar/honey until thick.
     
  4. Drink and enjoy. (A straw is recommended!)
