JCC Association's Early Childhood Curriculum Project 'This New Month'

Introduction:

This is a fun song about Mordechai, Esther's beloved uncle who saved King Ahasueros from an assassination plot, stood up to the evil Haman by refusing to bow down to him and convinced Esther to go to the king and save the Jewish people. This spirited romp is a fun song for students to sing in honor of Uncle Mordechai. If your school does a Purim spiel, it's also the ideal galloping song for Mordechai's parade through the streets of Shushan (the capital of Persia).
