Passover Brownies
Why This Recipe:
These tasty brownies, which are made with Passover cake meal and potato starch are fun to make and eat for Passover.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup of oil
- 1 cup of Passover cake meal
- 1 tablespoon potato starch
- 5 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/3 cup apple juice
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- powdered sugar (to sprinkle on top)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Beat the sugar and eggs well.
- Add oil.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cake meal, potato starch, cocoa, apple juice and walnuts.
- Stir these ingredients into the egg mixture and mix well.
- Spread the mixture onto a greased 9x13" pan.
- Bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a brownie comes up clean.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
- Eat and enjoy!
