Here is a recipe for Israeli Salad from JCC preschool teacher Debbie M. in Massachusetts.
Ingredients:
- Cucumbers
- Tomatoes
- Parsley
- Lemon Juice
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions:
- Chop up cucumbers, tomatoes, and parsley
- Mix all vegetables together
- Add Lemon Juice, Olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
You can eat this salad as is or use it as a filler in a pita pocket with houmus, falafel, etc.
