Mitzvah-To-Be-Happy Hats
Introduction:
Explain to the children that there is a MITZVAH to be happy the whole month of ADAR. It is also a mitzvah to make others happy. When people see these happy/funny hats they will smile and be happy!
Materials
- Construction Paper
- Scissors
- glue
- tape
Directions
- Cut big circles out of paper for the face
- Cut different shapes out of paper for eyes, nose and mouth
- Paste shapes onto the circle to make silly or happy faces!
- Make a band out of paper to fit around the child's head.
- Attach the face to the band so the children can wear it as a hat!

Who is in charge of making us happy?
What can we do to make ourselves happy?
Can we force others to be happy?
