Torah Lanu Morasha

Introduction:

Lisa L. states, "This was my grandmother’s favorite song. I can hear her voice singing it to me now. The song praises G-d, and speaks of the Torah as our heritage. So as my grandmother passed this song down to me, I proudly pass it to you and your students. I like to create a Hora with the children as we sing this piece. I encourage them to find a creative movement that shows our respect for the holiness of the Torah."

Lyrics:

Halleluyah, halleluyah.
Ivdu avdei Adonai.

Halleluyah, halleluyah.
Ivdu avdei Adonai.
Praise G-d, Praise G-d,
We worship the works of the Lord.
Praise G-d, Praise G-d,
We worship the works of the Lord.
Torah lanu morasha.
Torah lanu, v’hi k’dosha.
Torah lanu morasha.
Torah lanu, v’hi k’dosha.
Our Torah is our heritage.
Our Torah is holy.
Our Torah is our heritage.
Our Torah is holy.
Halleluyah, halleluyah.
Ivdu avdei Adonai.

Halleluyah, halleluyah.
Ivdu avdei Adonai.
Praise G-d, Praise G-d,
We worship the works of the Lord.
