Peanutty Balls

Why This Recipe:

During the month of Shevat, we can celebrate Tu b'Shevat by making recipes that use food items that come from trees. This no-bake recipe includes peanut butter (from nuts) and raisins (from grapes). This is a fun recipe that is easy for children to make and tasty to eat.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of Chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup Confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 cup oats, granola or carob chips

Directions:
(approx. 30 one-inch balls)

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
     
  2. Roll the mixture into balls.
     
  3. Cover a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
     
  4. Place balls on the waxed paper.
     
  5. Refrigerate for one hour.
     
  6. Eat and Enjoy!
