Israeli Salad
Why This Recipe:
Here is a recipe for Israeli Salad from JCC preschool teacher Debbie M. in Massachusetts.
Ingredients:
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
Parsley
Lemon Juice
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Directions:
Chop up cucumbers, tomatoes, and parsley
Mix all vegetables together
Add Lemon Juice, Olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
You can eat this salad as is or use it as a filler in a pita pocket with houmus, falafel, etc.
